Subject: core dumps
worsch's last message about the core dumps in kpathsea points
the way to a possible workaround (I haven't tried it myself):
In kpathsea/fn.c, change CHUNK_SIZE from 64 to, say, 512.
If the problem is in my dynamically growing strings, that
ought to avoid it, because the strings will never have to grow.
I'm working on tracking down the real problem.
After I find it, I'll probably make another release,
fixing that and the other bugs people have reporte.
